青のすみか

For this blog post, I listened to 青のすみか by Tatsuya Kitani. I first heard this song as an opening for one of my favorite anime right now, Jujutsu Kaisen. Below is an image of the characters featured in this opening. The song is a mix of pop and rock, and is fast-paced with an upbeat tone. I enjoyed the electric guitar during the chorus as well as the powerful vocals. 

I recognized a lot of words but I didn't understand many full sentences. Below are some of the words/phrases that I picked up while listening.

Newer vocab: "ちがう"
Older vocab: "こえ", "行く", "さよなら", "住んでいる", "しずか", " "あの日から", etc.
Unfamiliar vocab: "どこまでも" meaning anywhere or wherever, "今でも" meaning "even now"

I also noticed uses of the te form and the plain past tense as well as the potential form (affirmative and negative).
