Undead Murder Farce
This weekend, I watched an anime called "Undead Murder Farce." It it historical fiction, but features demons, vampires, and other monsters. The main character is an "Oni Killer" who performs in a circus, but is revealed to have demonic blood that gives him powers. He meets a woman dressed as a maid carrying a disembodied head in a birdcage. The disembodied head is an immortal woman whose body was taken by the same man who took away the main character's humanity - thus, they go on a quest to Europe to find that man.
I enjoyed this anime because of its art style and smooth animation, as well as the historical background and atmosphere. The plot was somewhat convoluted and the main character's motivations didn't make sense to me. Also, some scenes were too dialogue-heavy. However, overall, I enjoyed the adventure and the fantasy aspects.
I was able to recognize some expressions, such as saying the price of something was too high, introducing oneself, "to relax," and more.
