Episode 1049 - Luffy Soars! Revenge Against the King of the Beasts

In this episode of One Piece, the main character Luffy flew on a dragon to get a rematch against the main villain of this arc, Kaido. It was comedic because the dragon was afraid of height. To bide time for Luffy, a new character Yamato fought Kaido for him, and revealed her backstory. Overall, this was more of a buildup episode to the main fight between Luffy and Kaido, and I'm very excited to keep watching next week.

I was able to recognize many words such as "friend" and expressions like "yokatta." And one point in the episode, the subtitles stopped working, and I was still able to get a feeling of what was going on. I could also understand some uses of casual speech and noted that the -te form was used.
