This weekend I watched another episode of the anime "Lycoris Recoil."
Lycoris Recoil, as I discussed in a previous blog post, is an anime about orphan girls who are raised to be proficient secret agents. In this episode, due to many attacks against "Lycoris" secret agents, the two main characters had to hide out in one of their houses and essentially have a "sleepover." It is then revealed that the main character is being targeted by a terrorist group. When they attack her, she manages to fight them off, but she doesn't kill the main bad guy and he gets away.
I liked this episode a little less than the others, only because it felt like a set-up for later episodes that would have more action and drama. It was, however, the first time I've seen an enemy that could stand up to the main character Chisato, who is very strong, so I am definitely excited to see what happens next.
In this episode, I recognized the words for "I don't know," "that's good," "Japan," "smartphone," "to do," "is that so," etc. There was also some writing in the episode (text messages) that I could recognize. I was also very excited when I heard the word "sore" for when a character was gesturing to a necklace that another character was wearing, because that's part of what we've started learning in class.
