Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters
Over spring break, I watched many anime episodes, but the most significant one was the first special of the Attack on Titan finale. Attack on Titan is a very popular anime, and my brother and I watched it together. I was looking forward to the special a lot because it had been a while since I had last seen any episodes of this show. In this episode, the main character Eren Jeager leads an attack on the whole world called the "Rumbling," and his friends try to stop him. It was very emotional and intense as well as entertaining. I have not read the manga that accompanies this anime, so I am excited to see what happens in the next special.
I definitely felt that I was more able to recognize words, including greetings and goodbyes, as well as honorifics. I also recognized verbs such as "to sleep" "to live," and more as well as learning other verbs like "to cry" and "run." I recognized the -te form for requests, as well as the casual form of many verbs. I also could read some kanji, including the character for "one" in the title of the episode. Because this anime is quite dark and adult, I also learned mean phrases or curses.
